Chart of Accounts Structure Fields

Here is a description of the fields that make up a chart of accounts structure record.

Key:  * – Mandatory field; L - Mandatory for local chart of accounts structures
The number indicates the number of characters that are allowed in this text field, where appropriate.

Field     Description
Active     Make this chart of accounts structure active. If a chart of accounts structure is not active, it will not appear in lookups. You cannot make a chart of accounts structure inactive if a company is using it. Defaults to false.
Default Corporate GLA L   Click the lookup icon to search for the appropriate GLA. If a local GLA belonging to this chart of accounts structure is used in a transaction and that GLA has not been mapped to a corporate GLA, the GLA specified here will be used.
Default Local GLA L   Click the lookup icon to search for the appropriate local GLA. It must already belong to this chart of accounts structure. If a corporate GLA is used in a transaction and that GLA has not been mapped to a local GLA in this chart of accounts structure, the GLA specified here will be used.
Is Corporate     Indicates that this structure is the corporate chart of accounts structure. You can only have one corporate chart of accounts structure in an org. Defaults to false.
Name * 80 Name of the chart of accounts structure. The name must be unique.
