Assigning a Proration Policy to a Contract

You can assign a proration policy to a contract, or change the proration policy assigned, either:

To assign a proration policy to an existing contract:

  1. Click the Contracts tab.
  2. Select the contract from list view, then click Edit.
  3. Select the proration policy from the dropdown list. The default proration policyThe proration policy that has the Automatically Assign to New Contracts checkbox set. is highlighted in bold with "(Default)".
  4. Click Save.

When creating a new contract, you can select a proration policy to be assigned or you can accept the default.
