Creating Company Tax Information

To create new company tax information and apply it to a company:

1. Click Create Tax Information on the Company Detail page of the company to which you want to apply the information, or click the Company Tax Information tab.
2. Enter the Company Tax Information Name.
3. Select the type of tax to use for products sold by the company.
4. If you selected the Tax Type VATValue Added Tax or GSTGoods and Services Tax:
   1. Select the VAT or GST tax code to use for the company.
   2. Select VAT / GST Group if the company belongs to a VAT / GST group.
   3. Enter the identifying number for tax registration.
   4. If the company is in the European Union, select a Tax Country Code.
5. Click Save.

To apply existing company information to a company:

1. Enter the Company Tax Information Name in the Tax Information field in the Company Detail page of the company to which you want to apply the tax information or click the lookup icon to search for it.
2. Click Save.
