Setting up Default Detail Pages

As an Administrator of Billing Central, you can choose whether you want Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to see the Salesforce or Enhanced Plans, Contracts and Billing Document detail pages by default. The enhanced detail pages are shown by default.

Some features of Billing Central are not yet available in the enhanced detail pages. To access these features, you must use the Salesforce detail page.

Sales Managers and Sales Consultants can also switch between the Salesforce and enhanced versions of the detail pages from Billing Central itself. See Switching between Enhanced and Salesforce Detail Pages.

Billing Document

To set the Salesforce Billing Document Detail page as the default:

1. Click Setup | Create | Objects.
2. Click the FinancialForce Billing Central Billing Document object.
3. Scroll to the Buttons, Links and Actions section.
4. Do the following for the New, Edit and View buttons on the Billing Documents tab:
   1. Click Edit in the Action column of the button you are overriding.
   2. Select No Override (use default).
   3. Click Save.
   4. Repeat these steps for the remaining buttons that you want to change.

To change back to the enhanced detail page, repeat these steps but replace step 4b with: Select Visualforce Page then choose the Visualforce page for the button you are changing.

Contracts and Plans

To set the Salesforce detail page as the default for contracts and plans:

1. Click Setup | Create | Objects.
2. Click the FinancialForce Billing Central Contract or Plan depending on which object you want to change.
3. Scroll to the Buttons, Links and Actions section.
4. Do the following for the New, Edit and View buttons on the Contracts or Plans tab:
   1. Click Edit in the Action column of the button you are overriding.
   2. Select Standard Salesforce.com Page.
   3. Click Save.
   4. Repeat these steps for the remaining buttons that you want to change.
5. Repeat these steps for the remaining object.

To change back to the enhanced detail page, repeat these steps but replace step 4b with one of these actions:

• Select No Override
• Select Visualforce Page then choose the Visualforce page for the button you are changing.
