Picking Items

When items are ready to be picked for a sales order, service purchase order or transfer to another warehouse, the picklist for the item is listed on the Warehouse tab of Action Queues.The depending on whether the item is part of a sales order, service purchase order or a transfer, it is also listed on the Shipping tab in the Waiting for items to be Pulled for Customer Orders, Waiting for Parts to Ship Material to Supplier, or Waiting for Parts to Transfer to Warehouse section.

To pick an item:

1. Click the Action Queues tab.
2. If picking an item for a production order click the Production tab, otherwise click the Warehouse tab.
3. To print the picklist for the item, click Print Slip.
4. To confirm picking of the item, click Confirm.

At this point the item is no longer be listed on the Warehouse tab, but appears on the Shipment tab in the Ship Material to Customer, Ship Material to Supplier or Transfer Parts to Warehouse section of the Shipping tab.
