Lightning Experience

This implementation adds the following component types to PSA record pages and object page layouts.

Type	Description	Visualforce Buttons or Actions
Lightning App pages	Direct replacements for existing pages.	The equivalent existing Visualforce buttons or actions that the PSA Lightning component types replace in this release have been removed the object page layouts. If are upgrading to the Lightning component types in this PSA release, you might need to manually remove any Visualforce buttons or actions from any page layouts that have not been removed.
PSA Actions components	Components that contain multiple PSA Lightning actions to open new Lightning windows or existing Visualforce pages. The components are included in the relevant default record pages.
PSA Lightning actions	Actions that open new Lightning windows. These are included in the default object page layouts.
PSA Lightning components	Components that deliver specific functionality. These are included in the relevant default record pages.

A set of functional permissions is being delivered in Spring 2021 and will be present in your org. As this work is being delivered over multiple releases and is not complete, you must not implement the new functional permissions until the work is finished.

Gantt

Fields without read permission are not displayed.
If the default sharing access for project tasks is set to private, configure sharing rules so that users who should see project tasks in Gantt have sharing permission for the native records.

Revenue Forecasting

If you have previously installed the Fall 2019 version of PSA, you must ensure that the Project ID field on the Revenue Forecast Batch Lock object has been deleted.

Ensure that users who were previously assigned the PSA - Forecasting - Setup permission set are now also assigned the PSA - Close Time Period for Forecasting permission set. Note: The PSA - Forecasting - Setup permission set has been renamed to PSA - Configure Forecast Setup and the ability to close time periods for forecasting is now in a separate permission set. This has been done as part of the work on Functional Permissions.	Revenue Forecasting Permissions
Ensure that users who were previously assigned the PSA - Forecasting - Run permission set are now also assigned the PSA - Adjust Forecast Version permission set. Note: The PSA - Forecasting - Run permission set has been renamed to PSA - Run Forecast and the ability to make management adjustments to revenue forecast versions is in a separate permission set. This has been done as part of the work on Functional Permissions.

Integration Hub

Upgrade Steps

If you are using Integration Hub Connector: Jira - PSA, when you upgrade PSA to Spring 2021, the connector isn't updated automatically. The workflows that were enabled in the previous version of PSA continue to work, but you cannot use the new features or change your configuration settings.

Before you can upgrade the connector, FinancialForce Customer Support must make the upgraded workflows available in your org. Once the workflows are available, you must perform the steps detailed in Upgrading Jira - PSAto Spring 2021 in the Integrations Help.

New and Enhanced APIs

No upgrade steps are required to upgrade new and enhanced PSA APIs to Spring 2021.
