Upgrading Concur - PSA to Fall 2021

If you are upgrading from version Spring 2020 or earlier of Integration Hub Connector: Concur - PSA, you must perform the steps detailed below.

After your org is upgraded, the connector is not automatically upgraded. Your existing workflows continue to execute as before, but you are not able to benefit from the new features included in the latest version.

To upgrade the connector, perform the following steps:

  1. Raise a case with FinancialForce Customer Support to make the latest version of the workflows available for your org.
  2. Disable the Integration Hub Connector: Concur - PSA feature via the Feature Console.
  3. Disable the active workflows via the Feature Console.
  4. Enable the workflows again.
  5. Enable the feature again.

Disabling and Enabling the Integration Hub Connector: Concur - PSA Feature via the Feature Console

Before you can start using the upgraded workflows, you must first disable the existing workflows.

Warning: While you are performing the upgrade steps via the Feature Console, the active workflows stop synchronizing changes between PSA and Concur. Since all the workflows execute in real-time, we strongly recommend that you advise your users not to perform actions that would normally trigger a workflow to execute. For example, advise your users not to log work in Concur.
Note: The expected time to perform all the steps via the Feature Console is up to one hour, provided that your configuration is already set up correctly.

Once FinancialForce Customer Support has made the latest version of the workflows available for your org, perform the following steps.

  1. Click the Feature Console tab.
  2. Click Integration Hub Connector: Concur - PSA to view the feature steps.
  3. Use the Status slider in the Feature section to mark the feature as disabled.
  4. Next to step 7, click Edit. Enable the Synchronization of Record dialog displays.
  5. Deselect Sync Work Logs from Concur to Timecards in PSA. This disables the workflow.
  6. Next to step 6, click Revert.
  7. Next to step 6, click Perform. This pushes the keys and mappings to the Integration Hub.
  8. Next to step 7, click Edit. The Enable Synchronization of Records dialog displays.
  9. Deselect Sync Work Logs from Concur to Timecards in PSA. This enables the upgraded workflow.
  10. Next to step 11, click Perform. This creates two Foundations configuration items for custom Concur expense and expense report fields.
  11. Use the Status slider in the Feature section to mark the feature as enabled.
  12. The Integration Hub Connector: Concur - PSA is now updated.
