Action Views Component

Action Views is one of the components available from the palette on a related content pane Shows various types of information in the action view results, for example address and contact information, tasks and chatter posts associated with the account. Some information is editable.. This component provides all the Action Views functionality that is also available from the Action Views tab. You can inquire on your FinancialForce Reporting data as well as any other data held on the Salesforce platform.

When you configure this component you enter a Label name, then select from picklists:

• An Action View Enables you to inquire on FinancialForce Reporting data and any other data held on the Salesforce platform. Uses dataviews, related content panes, and action view templates. Template to define the content and structure of your action view
• A Filter Field: this is automatically populated with your driving object if there is just one related field. If your action view template Specifies the dataview that you are inquiring on. includes multiple fields that use your driving object, then you can choose the field to filter.
