Consolidation groups represent structural changes in Company Ownership and in the relationships between companies. These relations are defined by factors such as company ownership, investments, and investors. To support this new relation schema we have included an automated batch process to update all companies to this new standard using the Hierarchy Reference field in the Transactions object.
We have enhanced the Company Ownership records to distinguish the type of ownership, percentage, and time. We also support tracking changes to these fields for audit purposes or to visualize the status of an ownership at a given time.
