Loading a Chart of Accounts

Note: Not required if you have an existing chart of accounts. If a chart of accounts is not already set up in your org, you can import a chart of accounts for your chosen localization, and a corporate chart of accounts.

1. Open the Chart of Accounts Localization tab.
2. In the Select Localization picklist select your localization.
3. Click Load Chart of Accounts.The local chart of accounts loads with all GLAs selected by default.
4. [Optional] Click Corporate to load the corporate GLAs.
5. [Optional] Deselect any GLAs that you do not want to load. Use the search bar to find specific GLAs. Use the search GLAs field to find specific GLAs.
6. Click Load.

Note: The local balance sheet fields are populated when you load the chart of accounts.

Datastream

In order to make it easier for you to set up your org, the following chart of accounts templates can be imported using Datastream:

• Corporate
• France
• Sample
• Spain

To use this functionality you must download the Chart of Accounts and Mappings Templates ZIP folder from Community, and have Datastream installed and configured. For more information, see FinancialForce Datastream in Community.
