(BETA) Revenue Recognition against Revenue Schedules

Warning:

Revenue recognition against revenue schedules is BETA functionality in this release and should only be used in sandbox environments.

If you intend recognizing revenue against revenue schedules, please note the following limitations:

• Any source records using "Deliverable" templates will be recognized in the scheduled period regardless of whether or not their delivery has been confirmed.
• Volumes above 50,000 source records per recognition period are not supported.

The following limitations relating to revenue schedules still apply:

• Revenue schedules do not support the "% Complete" template type. Any source records with a "% Complete" template are ignored when you generate revenue schedules.
• Revenue schedules do not support cost. Any cost amounts on source records are ignored when you generate revenue schedules.

Note:

You can only recognize revenue against revenue schedules if your permissions include the Run Revenue Schedule Recognize Process on All Revenue Schedule Lines custom permission. This custom permission allows you to recognize revenue against all revenue schedule lines regardless of which records are shared with you.
