Field-level security is a feature of the Salesforce platform that enables you to restrict view and edit access to specific fields. For information about how to manage Salesforce field-level security, see the Field-Level Security topic in the Salesforce Help.
Grid Limitations
The fields in the Line Items grid might be editable on the following pages regardless of the field accessibility settings:
- Cash entry detail page
- Journal detail page
- Payable credit note detail page
- Payable invoice detail page
- Sales invoice detail page
- Sales credit note detail page
However, you can use the field accessibility settings to restrict view and edit access to the fields in the Details tab.
