Manually Linking an Existing PSA Project to Jira
- Your PSA projects and Jira projects or issues were set up before you started using the connector.
- One department in your company manages PSA projects and a different department manages Jira projects or issues.
- You do not want to automatically create Jira projects or issues from PSA projects.
To manually link a PSA project to a Jira project or issue:
- Navigate to the Projects tab.
- Open the project that you want to link to Jira.
- Depending on the how the connector is set up in your org, Enter one of the following in the Jira Correlation ID field:
- If PSA projects are mapped to Jira projects, enter the ID of the Jira project. For example, 10010. For more information on how to get the ID of a Jira project, see the Jira Knowledge Base.
- If PSA projects are mapped to Jira issues, enter the ID of the Jira issue. For example, 10186. For more information on how to get the ID of a Jira issue, see the Jira Knowledge Base.
- Save your changes. The PSA project is now linked to the Jira project or Jira issue.
