Integration Hub Connector: Jira - PSA

The Jira - PSA integration enables you to seamlessly connect PSA and Atlassian Jira via the Integration Hub. It helps you streamline your processes so that your resources that use Jira as their work management application can also use it for entering time. It removes the need to manually enter the data in both systems.

The integration enables you to:

  • Automatically fill out PSA timecards and task time records with time logged for issues in Jira.
  • Automatically sync eligible PSA resources to Jira users.
  • Automatically sync eligible PSA projects to Jira projects or issues of a predetermined type.
  • Automatically sync eligible PSA project tasks to Jira issues, or Jira issues of predetermined types to PSA project tasks.
  • Automatically update a PSA project field when the related Jira issue moves to a specific status.
  • Manually correlate PSA resources and projects with Jira users and projects or issues of a predetermined type.

Prerequisites

You need the appropriate licenses and access to the following:

  • Atlassian Jira application. The supported versions are:
    • Jira Cloud
    • Jira Server 8.0 or newer
  • Integration Hub Connector: Jira - PSA
  • Salesforce org with PSA Fall 2021 or newer installed and configured

The Integration Hub is a third-party application used to transfer information between Jira and PSA.
