Staffing permission controls enable you to set permissions to staff resources on the specified region

To make staffing decisions, users must be assigned the necessary staffing permissions for projects and resources as shown in this table.

To apply the Staffing permission control to Resource and Project Planners, set the Edit Requires Staffing Permission custom field to true in the Resource and Project Planners Settings and Preferences custom setting. When this field is set to true, the Staffing permission controls the ability to edit assignments or resource requests in the respective planner.
The following control how your users can create resource requests and assign resources to them:
- The Resource Request Entry permission control controls the ability of your user to create a resource request.
- The Staffing permission control controls the ability of your user to assign a resource to a resource request.
Both permission controls are required to create a resource request and assign a resource to it.
