Assign the SCMAVA - Validate Account Addresses permission set to users who need to validate the billing, corporate, and shipping addresses of an account record.

Alternatively, if you use your own permission sets or provide field-level access using profiles, ensure that the relevant users have access to the following fields on the Account object:

  • Standard Salesforce fields:
    • Billing Address
    • Shipping Address
  • SCM fields:
    • Corporate Address Line 1
    • Corporate Address Line 2
    • Corporate City
    • Corporate Country
    • Corporate State/Province
    • Corporate Zip / Postal Code
  • SCM Avalara Connector fields:
    • Valid Billing Address
    • Valid Corporate Address
    • Valid Shipping Address
