Creating Sales Invoices and Credit Notes from Billing Events Awaiting Invoicing

You can use the Billing Events Awaiting Invoicing tab to create sales invoices and credit notes from eligible billing events. For more information about this tab, see Billing Events Awaiting Invoicing Tab.

Note:

You can only perform these steps in Lightning and if SRP is running in enhanced modeClosed When SRP runs in enhanced mode, it uses the improved mechanism introduced starting with Spring 2021. This includes better flow execution performance and a modern user experience. Enhanced mode is enabled when the Run Integration in Enhanced Mode field in the SRP Integration Settings custom setting is selected..

To create sales invoices and credit notes:

  1. Open the Billing Events Awaiting Invoicing tab.
  2. Select the billing events that you want to create sales invoices and credit notes from.
  3. Click Create Sales Invoices and Credit Notes. If one or more of the selected billing events are not eligible for creating a sales invoice or a credit note, a warning message displays.

If you continue, only eligible billing events are processed successfully. Billing events that are not eligible are logged as errors in the process run. The process logs also contain error messages that explain why each billing event is not eligible.

    Note:

Depending on the number of billing events that you select, you might not see a warning message even if some of the billing events are not eligible. For more information, see BE Validation Limit for BEAR and BEAI and contact your administrator.

  4. Click Create Sales Invoices and Credit Notes. The process starts in the background.
  5. [Optional] Click View process run to open the related process run record. The process run contains the number of successfully processed records, the number of errors, and log entries for each record that was processed.
  6. You are notified by email once the process finishes. The email contains a summary of the process run and a direct link to the process run record. The email is also sent to any additional email addresses defined by your administrator. For more information, see Additional Notification Recipients.
