Adopting Enhanced Mode

1. Delete the legacy scheduled job for the Billing Events to Sales Invoices or Credit Notes flow from Setup | Environment | Jobs | Scheduled Jobs. The existing job has the Apex Class field set to ConvertBEToInvoicesCreditsScheduler.

2. Delete the legacy scheduled jobs for the following ClickLink rules:

   • Journal Line Item to PSA Miscellaneous Adjustment
   • Payable Credit Note Expense Line Item to PSA Miscellaneous Adjustment
   • Payable Invoice Expense Line Item to PSA Miscellaneous Adjustment
   • PSA Expense Report to Payable Invoice
   • PSA Expense Report to Payable Credit Note
   • PSA Miscellaneous Adjustment to Journal
   • PSA Vendor Invoice to Payable Invoice
   • PSA Vendor Invoice to Payable Credit Note
   More information

   You can do this in one of two ways:

   • By deleting the ClickLink jobs related to the rules.
   • By deleting the schedule jobs from Setup | Environment | Jobs | Scheduled Jobs. In this case, the scheduled jobs have the same name as the ClickLink jobs.

To enable your users to use the new fields and Lightning actions, you must ensure that they are available from the relevant pages.

1. Update the relevant page layouts for the Billing Event object. More information

   1. Add the Automatically Pass to Accounting field.
   2. Add the Create Sales Invoice or Credit Note Lightning action.
   3. Remove the Create Invoices/Credits button.
2. Assign users with the page layouts for the Expense Report and Expense Report objects. For more information, see Assigning SRP Page Layouts.
   Alternatively, manually update your own page layouts for the Expense Report object. More information

   1. Add the Automatically Pass to Accounting field.
   2. Add the Create Payable Invoice or Credit Note Lightning action.
   3. Remove the Create Payable Invoice/Credit Note button.
3. Add the Automatically Pass to PSA field to the relevant page layouts for the Journal Line Item object.
4. Update the relevant page layouts for the Miscellaneous Adjustment object. More information

   1. Add the Automatically Pass to Accounting field.
   2. Add the Create Journal Lightning action.
   3. Remove the Create Journal button.
5. Update the relevant page layouts for the Payable Invoice Expense Line Item and Payable Credit Note Expense Line Item objects. More information

   1. Add the following fields:
      • Automatically Pass to PSA
      • Pass to PSA
      • Recharge Customer
   2. Remove the Transaction Category field.
6. Update the relevant field sets on the Payable Invoice Expense Line Item and Payable Credit Note Expense Line Item objects. More information

   Add the following fields:

   • Automatically Pass to PSA
   • Pass to PSA
   • Recharge Customer

   This ensures that the fields are displayed in the Expense Lines grid of the Lightning pages for payable invoices and credit notes. You must update the relevant field sets depending on the Accounting company type. For more information, see Activating and Configuring Lightning Record Pages for Documents.

7. Update the relevant page layouts for the Miscellaneous Adjustment object. More information

   1. Add the Automatically Pass to Accounting field.
   2. Add the Create Payable Invoice or Credit Note Lightning action.
   3. Remove the Create Payable Invoice/Credit button.

To enable enhanced mode:

1. From Setup, click Custom Code | Custom Settings.
2. Next to SRP Integration Settings, click Manage.
3. Click Edit.
4. Select Run Integration in Enhanced Mode.
5. Click Save. Enhanced mode is now enabled.

In legacy mode, SRP uses ClickLink and integration rules to define object and field mappings for each flow. In enhanced mode, Foundations mappings are used instead. The standard mappings are available by default. If you configured custom field-level mappings, you must recreate them in the Foundations mappings. You can do this using Feature Console. For more information, see Migrating Custom Legacy SRP Mappings to Foundations Mappings.

Foundations mappings require objects to be searchable. Ensure that the Allow Search checkbox is selected for the Miscellaneous Adjustment object. For more information, see the Salesforce Help.

We recommend that you perform the following steps to keep your org clean. All the steps are optional and you can perform them in any order.

1. Remove the Process Employee Expense button from all page layouts for the Vendor Invoice object.
2. Remove the Process Employee Expenses button from the list view search layout for the Vendor Invoice object.
3. Remove any list views specific to the flow. For example, any list view that filters vendor invoices based on the Eligible Expense for Credit Note and Eligible Expense for Invoice fields.
4. Deactivate the "Employee" value from the Type picklist on the Account object.
   Warning:

   Only do this if you are not using the picklist value.
