New Features and Enhancements in Financial Analytics Summer 2023

The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2023 release of Financial Analytics.

Enhancements to the Financial Analytics Dataflow

The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2023 release of Financial Analytics.

Enhancements to the Financial Balances Dataset

We have added the Budget Version Scenario and Parent Budget Name fields to the Financial Balances dataset. This enables you to identify the scenario of each budget version and the parent budget of each budget.

Enhancements to the Financial Transactions Dataset

We have added fields related to archive set to the Financial Transactions dataset. This enables you to identify transactions and transaction line items that have been archived.

We have added the following fields:

• Transaction Archive Set ID
• Transaction Archive Set Name
• Transaction Line Item Archive Set ID
• Transaction Line Item Archive Set Name

Restored Financial Statements Dashboard

We have restored the Trial Balance dashboard in Financial Analytics after the feedback received to facilitate the creation and setup process of your reports.

Supply Chain Management Core Dataset Renamed Order and Inventory Management

The Supply Chain Management Core dataset has been renamed Order and Inventory Management. This is to align with the renaming of the SCM product suite that has been introduced in the Summer 2023 release. The package for the core product, Supply Chain Management (SCM), has been renamed Order and Inventory Management and the related product packages have also been renamed accordingly. Note:

The SCM - Use Business Analytics for SCM permission set has been renamed OIM - Use Business Analytics as part of the renaming changes included in the Summer 2023 release of Order and Inventory Management. This permission set is required to provide read-only access to the Order and Inventory Management objects and fields included in the Order and Inventory Management dataset.
