Slack Channel Configuration Custom Metadata Type Fields

The Slack Channel Configuration custom metadata type stores configuration data used by Certinia's Slack integration. This section provides information about the fields on the custom metadata type that stores the Slack component's relationships. PSA automatically creates a record for the Project object.

Description

Label * Label of the Slack configuration item metadata type record.
Slack Channel Configuration Name * The unique name used by the API and managed packages. The name must begin with a letter and use only alphanumeric characters and underscores. The name cannot end with an underscore or have two consecutive underscores.
Slack Channel Object * The API name of the object on which to create Slack channels and manage channel members.
User Object * The API name of the object that provides user details for the related object's Slack channels.
Relationship Path * The path or API name for the field connecting the object specified in the User Object field to the object specified in the Slack Channel Object field.
Salesforce User ID Path * The path or API name for the field containing the Salesforce user ID.
Record Name Path *

The path or API name for the field containing the record identifier that you want to display in the Record Name column of the Slack Channel component.

User Path * The path or API name for the field containing the user identifier that you want to display in the User column of the Slack Channel component.
