Setting up the Order Fulfillment Workspace

Installing the Workspace

Starting with the Fall 2020 release, Order and Inventory Management Workspaces is no longer part of the Order and Inventory Management package. Contact Certinia Onboarding to have the Order and Inventory Management Workspaces package installed into your org.

Complete the following setup for your users to access the Order Fulfillment workspace:

  1. The OIM Workspaces - Order Fulfillment permission set provides access to the Order Fulfillment Workspace. Assign the OIM Workspaces - Order Fulfillment permission set to the users that require access to the workspace.
  2. The workspace links to various parts of the product and is populated by the relevant records. To view the dashboard correctly with populated data, you must assign the OIM Super User permission set to ensure that your users have access to the following objects:
    • Sales Order
    • Sales Order Line Item
    • Backorder
    • Customer Accounts (Accounts)
    • Customer Returns
    • Customer Return Lines
    • Customer Quotations
    • PO Payment Terms
  3. Manually add the Order Fulfillment Workspace tab to any apps. By adding this tab to the relevant apps you gain maximum benefit from the Order Fulfillment workspace, supporting your workflows, and reducing the time needed to access the information required in your role.
  4. Manually add the Order Fulfillment Workspace tab permission on the profiles that require access to the workspace.

For more information about editing and assigning permission sets, adding tabs to apps and profiles, and configuring apps, see the Salesforce Help.

List Views

The Order Fulfillment workspace includes the following list views:

Active Customers Account
Open Backorders Backorder
Open Customer Returns Customer Return
Open Sales Orders - OIM Workspaces Sales Order

Some list views have “OIM Workspaces” appended to their name. This is to differentiate them from the list views with the same name included in the Order and Inventory Management package.

Warning: Do not delete these list views. If you delete any of these list views, they won't display when attempting to access them from the Procurement Workspace tab.
