Setting up Page Layouts and Record Types on the Customer Quotation Object

Set up the page layout assignment for the Customer Quotation object.

Ensure that these page layouts are assigned on profiles assigned to Advanced Quoting users:

Record Type	Page Layout
Change Request	Customer Quotation Change Request Layout.
Change Request Flex Term	Customer Quotation Flex Change Request Layout.
Deprecated Drop Ship Item	Customer Quotation Item Layout.
Drop Ship	Customer Quotation Item Layout.
Flex Term SC	Customer Quotation Flex Service Layout.
Inventory	Customer Quotation Inventory Layout.
Master	Customer Quotation Layout.
Service Contracts	Customer Quotation Layout.

Ensure that the profiles assigned to Advanced Quoting users are granted access to all record types on the Customer Quotation object with the default record type Drop Ship.

Tip:

The steps required to edit a profile vary depending on the options that have been set in the Setup section of the Salesforce user interface settings. For further information, see the Salesforce Help.

In addition, we recommend that you remove the Salesforce Clone button from the customer quotation page layouts.
