Accessing Planners

This table shows the buttons and links you can use to access the planners.

Button	Resource Planner Project Planner	Detail page of a resource or project.	The corresponding planner, showing only that resource or project.	When you open the Resource Planner from a related list, a list view, or a resource request, it loads with the Filters panel open. The Resource Planner is automatically filtered depending on the resource request, role, RPG, and skills. If a default filter described in Project Planner Filters or Resource Planner Filters is not enabled in Project Planner Enabled Filters or Resource Planner Enabled Filters field set, the filter is disabled in the corresponding planner. The disabled filter is not applied, and all resources or projects are listed.
		Resources or projects related list of a RPG Abbreviation of region, practice, group..	The corresponding planner, showing all resources or projects in that RPG Abbreviation of region, practice, group..
	View in Resource Planner	Resource Requests list view. Resource Requests related list on a Project or Opportunity.	The Resource Planner showing a list of resource requests in the Resource Request panel that you have selected to load.
Link	View in Planner	Next to a filtered resource name in the Assign Resource section of a Resource Request detail page.	The corresponding planner, showing the resource.
	Project Planner (PM)	PSE links sidebar in Classic App Launcher in Lightning	The Project Planner showing only the projects that you manage as Project Manager.
	Resource Planner Project Planner Open Project Planner	PSE links sidebar in Classic App Launcher in Lightning Project record, Actions | Project Planning Tools	The corresponding planner, showing all resources or projects in your organization.	The default saved filter set is applied and filters resources or projects accordingly. For example, all resources in your organization may not display. For more information, see Setting a Saved Filter as the Default. For the Open Project Planner link, this path is for users of record pages supplied by Certinia from Fall 2020. For Project Planner, from Fall 2020, if you are not using the project pages supplied by Certinia, your administrator can add the PSA Actions: Project Planning Tools component to the project record page.
