Creating an App from the PS Cloud Advanced Analytics Template

To create a PS Cloud Advanced Analytics app, perform the following steps.

Note:

You must first create a PS Cloud Core Analytics app before you can create an app using the PS Cloud Advanced Analytics template.

To avoid errors in the creation of your app, we recommend you follow the steps described in Setting up PS Cloud Analytics Apps before creating it.

  1. Click Create in Analytics Studio.
  2. Click App, and select the PS Cloud Advanced Analytics template.
  3. Click Continue.
  4. Name your app, then click Create.

Your app is now available on the App Launcher page. You can view the app from the Analytics tab, or edit it from the Analytics Studio.

By default, when you generate an app the sharing settings are set to private. To give access to other users, click . This opens the app's Give Access tab. For more information about sharing Analytics apps, see the Salesforce Help.

Warning:

If the app creation process fails, you must re-run the app template after fixing the issue. You can re-run the app template by deleting the failed app or reconfiguring it.

Updating your PS Cloud Advanced Analytics App

To upgrade to PS Cloud Advanced Analytics:

  1. Navigate to Analytics Studio | Advanced Analytics.
  2. Click on the Update Available link. This displays a wizard that will guide you through the upgrade process.
