Default Mapping Rule Template Upgrading from Department to Company

If you are using a version of Planning and Analysis that predates the Summer 2022 release, to use the Company dimensions in the Default Mapping Rule Template, you must complete the steps detailed below.

Editing Department Dimension to Company Dimension for Default Mapping Rule

To do this, perform the following steps:

1. From the App Launcher, do one of the following:
   1. On the Links page, click Modeling Rules | Mapping Rules.
   2. On the Planning Workspace tab, in the Navigation Pane, click Mapping Rules.
2. From the Mapping Rules list, click Default Mapping Rule Template.
3. Expand the RESULT (Header:Budget App, Child:Budget App Amount) header.
4. In the Default field, replace $Department(Department) with $Company(Company).
5. Click Save.
