Revenue Management Lightning Page Assignments

You can use the Lightning Page Assignments feature in the Feature Console to assign Lightning pages as org defaults for Revenue Management objects. This means that your users will work with records (such as recognition settings, templates, and transactions) using pages that are optimized for Lightning.

To enable the Lightning Page Assignments feature:

  1. Click the Feature Console tab.
  2. [Optional] Filter the list of features by application or status.
  3. Click the name of the Lightning Page Assignments feature for Revenue Management.
  4. Click Launch. The Feature Console lists all action overrides that you can complete and displays the following information:
    • The name of the object
    • The action to override (View)
    • The user interface that is affected (Lightning Experience)
    • The current override value
    • The proposed override value
  5. Check the list of selected objects before you proceed. If you want to skip one or more objects, deselect the relevant row. The Feature Console only applies updates to the selected rows.
  6. Click Perform.
  7. When the step is complete, use the Status slider in the Feature section to enable the feature. The Messages panel displays a summary of the changes.

If your org contains several Certinia apps, the Feature Console can display several Lightning Page Assignments features.

Customizing the List of Actions on Lightning Record Pages

By default, Lightning Experience actions are predefined by Salesforce. We recommend that you customize the list of actions on the relevant page layouts so that they show the actions you want.

If your org contains record or Sencha pages that display custom buttons, ensure that you add the custom buttons to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the relevant page layouts.

Due to a Salesforce known issue, standard buttons that are overridden with a Visualforce page are removed when you edit the page layout. To reinstate these buttons, complete the following steps:

  1. From Setup, navigate to the object, edit the relevant button, and remove the Visualforce override. For example, for the Salesforce Classic Override, select Standard Page and click Save.
  2. Edit the page layout and add the button to the layout. You can drag the button from the Mobile & Lightning Actions section of the palette to the Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions section of the page layout and click Save.
  3. Add the Visualforce override to the button and click Save.
