Printing Sales Credit Notes
When a sales credit note is "In Progress", you can preview it in PDF format. When a sales credit note is "Complete", you can preview and print it in both HTML and PDF format.
Print a Sales Credit Note in HTML Format
- Navigate to the detail page for the sales credit note you want to print. See Viewing Sales Credit Note Lists for more information.
- Click Print. If you don't see this button, either switch to Classic Edition or ask your administrator to add this custom button. A new browser window opens with the contents of the sales credit note in a print-ready format. A print event is logged in the event log
.
- Print the sales credit note using your browser's Print option. Remember to set an appropriate paper orientation before sending to the printer.
Print a Sales Credit Note in PDF Format
- Navigate to the detail page for the sales credit note you want to print. See Viewing Sales Credit Note Lists for more information.
- Click Print PDF.
- Print the sales credit note using your browser's Print option. Remember to set an appropriate paper orientation before sending to the printer.
View a Print Preview of a Sales Credit Note
Without creating a print event in the event log, click Preview (HTML) or View PDF.
When the sales document has a status of "In Progress" and you preview it using the View PDF button, the word DRAFT is shown as a watermark on the PDF. See Customizing the DRAFT Watermark if you want to know how to change the watermark.
Additional Information
If your administrator has enabled any custom fields for printing, an Additional Information section is added to the printed document. See the list of related topics for more information.
Enterprise Billing
If your organization needs to create enterprise billing documents, you cannot use Classic Edition
for this and you must ask your administrator to add a series of custom buttons to your Extended Edition
