Setting up the Engagement Functionality
Before you can use the engagement functionality, you must perform the necessary setup tasks. The following chart provides a high-level overview of the process.

If Business Analytics is installed in your org and you plan on using Engagement Analytics dashboards, create an Analytics app from the Engagement Analytics app template. The dashboards provide a visually-rich way of viewing the data for the entire engagement and within a specific revenue stream. You will embed the dashboards in the engagement record page in step 4. |

If Revenue Management is installed in your org and you plan on using engagements in the revenue recognition process, perform the required steps in Revenue Management. |

Customize the Lightning record page for the Engagement object. This includes cloning the managed template record and adding the appropriate components using the Lightning App Builder. |
