Managing Custom Permissions

Order and Inventory Management has a number of custom permissions that enable you to determine whether certain features are available to users.

Warning: If you do not check that these custom permissions are assigned to the appropriate profiles or permission sets in your organization, buttons on the Inventory and Inventory Adjustment pages may not be displayed.

For example, to manage custom permissions for a user do the following depending on the Profile User Interface settings in your Salesforce organization:

  1. Click Setup | Administration Setup | Manage Users | Profiles.
  2. Select the name of the profile you want to edit.
  3. Scroll to the Enabled Custom Permissions section.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Add or remove the permissions you want.
  6. Click Save.
Note:

You must be signed in with system administrator permissions to change these custom permissions.
