Process Runs

Clicking on the Process Runs tab displays the Process Runs homepage.

The Process Runs homepage displays the following information for the processes run by the Background Posting Scheduler, Background Matching and the Accounts Receivable Write-Off.

Note:
Process run information is not generated when there are no documents for the Background Posting Scheduler to process.

Field

Description

Process Run Name

A unique identifier for the process run. You can click this to view the Process Run Details page.

Parent Process Run

This field is only populated if the process run is a child of another process run. Click this to view the Process Run Details page for the parent process run.

Start Time

The date and time the process run started.

Finish Time

The date and time the process run finished.

Started By

The user that started the process.

You can click a Process Run Name to view more details of that process run. The following information can be viewed:

  • Additional process run details
  • Process User Group information. This is only available for processes run by the Background Posting Scheduler.
  • Process Logs

If you click a Parent Process Run, the child process run and child process log information is also displayed.

Note:
The information available will depend on whether you are using detailed monitoring or not.

The length of time that process run records are kept for is determined by the Days to Keep Process Run & Logs custom setting. For more information, see Async API Framework Settings
