Defining Public Holidays

An organization can set or define up-to 30 public holidays. When defining specific public holidays, ensure that two different public holidays do not have the same date. To define or view the defined public holidays in your org, you can either click View or Set Public Holidays on a Period Close Template page or perform the following steps:

  1. From the App Launcher, navigate to Public Holidays.
  2. Specify the date for a public holiday.
  3. [Optional] Enter the description and click Save. The public holiday is set for your org.

When using the public holidays for Accounting Playbooks functionality, only playbook owners can access the Public Holidays tab and set public holidays. For more information, see Creating Accounting Playbook Templates.
