Converting Bank Documents to Bank Files

Note:

If you have changed the names of the following two labels, only bank files after the name change are converted. Bank files before the name change are not converted:

• ffbfImportExportDefinitionName
• ffbfImportExportMappingFilesName

Previous versions of Bank Formats stored generated bank files in the Documents tab which is only available in Classic.

By converting your existing generated bank files from bank documents to bank files, you can view them both in Classic and Lightning.

How to Convert Existing Bank Documents to Bank Files

1. Click the Documents tab.
2. In the Document Folders section, use the drop-down next to Folder to select Bank Formats Bank Files.
3. Click Go. All existing Bank Formats bank files are retrieved.
4. In the top header, click Switch to Lightning Experience.
5. Click .
6. In the App Launcher search type "Bank Format Document Conversions".
7. Click New.
8. In the Convert Bank Documents to Bank Files screen, use the From Date and To Date fields to select by date range the existing generated Bank Format Mapping and Bank Format Definition documents that you want to convert.
9. Click Convert.
10. You will receive an email to confirm that the conversion is complete.
