Editing Success Plans

You can edit success plans from:

  • The Success Plans tab
  • Success Tracker

Editing Success Plans from the Success Plans Tab

To edit a success plan, do the following:

  1. In the App Launcher, navigate to the Success Plans tab.
  2. Click Show Actions next to the success plan that you want to edit, then click Edit. The edit window displays.
  3. Edit the information you want. The displayed fields might vary depending on whether your org uses custom record types. For more information, contact your administrator.
  4. Click Save to save the success plan or Save & New to save the success plan and create a new one.
Tip:

You can add, edit, and delete related objectives, playbooks, and playbook tasks from the Related subtab on the success plan record page.

Note:

If there are no record types available in your org for the Objective, Playbook, and Success Plan objects, the fields in their related creation and edit windows use the related field sets.

Editing Success Plans from Success Tracker

If a success plan has an associated account, you can edit the success plan from the Success Plans subtab on its related account's record page. Depending on your org configuration, Success Tracker might be enabled on additional pages and workspaces in Customer Success Cloud. For more information, contact your administrator.

To edit a success plan from Success Tracker:

  1. In the App Launcher, navigate to the Accounts tab.
  2. Click the account that the success plan belongs to. The account's record page displays.
  3. On the account's record page, click the Success Plans subtab. If you cannot view this subtab, contact your administrator.
  4. In the Success Tracker grid, select the checkbox next to the success plan that you want to edit.
  5. Click Edit in the toolbar. The edit window displays. The displayed fields might vary depending on whether your org uses custom record types. For more information, contact your administrator.
  6. Edit the information you want.
  7. Click Save.
Tip:

When displayed on an account record page, Success Tracker also enables you to edit a success plan's related objectives, playbooks, and playbook tasks.
