Planning Units

A Planning unit defines what a measure represents, that is, what the numeric values in your plan are referring to. For example, you might have a measure called Best Case and its value for a given cell might be 100. This value can represent different concepts and, in different cases, it might be $100, 100€, 100%, 100 hours, 100m, and so on. In Extended Planning and Analysis Analytics, you can use Planning units to describe the numeric values.
