Action Queues Inspection Tab
The inspection tab lists the inspections to be carried out on items that have been received and enables you to perform and confirm the listed inspections. Items that require an inspection are not added to the inventory until the inspection is carried out and as such cannot be sold or stored until this task is complete.
You can find the Inspection tab:
- For Lightning Experience, as a standard tab included in the Action Queues app.
- For Salesforce Classic, as a subtab within the Action Queues tab.
The Lightning version of the Inspection tab includes the following subtabs:
- Inspect Items: Displays receiving inspection records for items that require inspection or returned items and enables you to specify the quantities accepted or rejected for each inspected item. In the Inspect Items subtab you can partially inspect the received quantity of an item and save your changes to continue with the inspection later. You can return to the subtab as many times as you need to inspect the remaining item units. The receiving inspection records show in the Inspect Items subtab while they have a quantity that is pending inspection. Once you confirm that the total received quantity for the item has been inspected, its receiving inspection record is no longer listed in this subtab and displays in the Complete Inspection subtab instead.
- Complete Inspection: Displays the receiving inspection records that have no remaining quantity to inspect and are therefore pending to be completed. This subtab enables you to confirm the completion of the inspections associated with the inspection records using your assigned stamp number.
