Elements of Cost Fields

You can use elements of cost records to track specific types of direct costs. Your administrator can set up elements of cost records on the Codes tab. Here is a description of the fields on the Elements of Cost object.

Key: * – Mandatory field.

Field Name		Description
Elements of Cost Name		Name of the element of cost record.
Cost Types		Basic categorization of cost.
Default		Indicates whether this is the base element of cost that is assigned for materials when no other element code is assigned.
