Upgrading to Order and Inventory Management Winter 2024

This page describes the changes to make when upgrading to Winter 2024.

Purchase Contracts are Now Purchase Agreements

This section describes how to upgrade Order and Inventory Management so that your users can benefit from this feature. It also details the items that have been added or updated with the feature.

Upgrade Steps

Most labels are automatically updated. However, if you have Order and Inventory Management Workspaces installed, you must take the action indicated below to upgrade this feature to Winter 2024.

If you have Order and Inventory Management Workspaces installed, rename the following list views: Change the name of the Purchase Contracts Expiring in 60 Days list view on the Purchase Agreement object to Purchase Agreements Expiring in 60 Days. Change the name of the Current Month Off Contract POs list view on the Purchase Order object to Current Month Off-Agreement POs.	For information about renaming list views, see the Salesforce Help.

Note: Custom help text does not update automatically. If you want to align your field-level help in Order and Inventory Management with the changes we have introduced in this release, you must manually update the help text for the fields that you are using. For details of the changes in the field-level help of Order and Inventory Management, check the Order and Inventory Management Data Dictionary. Field-level help in Order and Inventory Management Workspaces has not been impacted by these changes.
