Budget Fields
Here is a description of the fields that make up a budget record. Some of these fields might not be visible or editable at all times, or in all package combinations.

Account | Lookup to the related account. | |
Admin Global Edit | Select to make the changes global. This includes changes to the budget's project A collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets., resource A contact that works on a project., currency, and date regardless of whether Include in Financials is selected. To use this option, set Actuals Calculation Mode to Scheduled. | |

Amount Consumed | The monetary amount of this budget that has been consumed, excluding the Expense Amount. | |
Approved | Indicates this budget is approved. | |
Approved for Billing | Indicates whether the budget is approved for billing. This field must be checked prior to Billing Generation. Your administrator can set up an approval process, field update, or trigger to automatically manage this field setting based on defined criteria. | |
Approver | The current approver of the timecard A mechanism for logging time against a project or an assignment.. | |
Audit Notes | Audit notes for the business transaction. | |
Bill Date | Bill date for the budget. | |
Billable | Indicates whether the budget is billable. | |
Billed | Indicates whether the budget has been included in a billing event A means of generating billing information that can be fed into a financial system. | |
Billing Event Invoiced | Indicates whether the customer has been invoiced for the amount on the timecard A mechanism for logging time against a project or an assignment. budget An amount used to manage expenditure on customer purchase orders, internal budgets, outbound vendor purchase orders and work orders. Billing Event Item | Lookup to the related billing event. | |
Billing Event Released | Indicates whether the billing event associated with the budget has been released. | |
Billing Event Status | Status of the billing event associated with the budget. | |
Billing Hold | Indicates whether billing for the budget is on hold. When selected, the budget cannot be billed and is not included when generating billing events. | |
Budget Header | Lookup to the parent budget header to which the budget relates. | |
Budget Name | * | Name of the budget. Make it identifiable to the project and its budget type. We recommend you make budget names unique within the project they relate to. |
Customer Reference | The customer purchase order number that this budget represents. If this budget is used by a budget allocation that's assigned to business records, when those records are billed the customer reference is copied to the generated billing events and billing event items. This means that when the billing events are released to your finance system for invoicing, the customer reference is included on the invoices. Eligible for Billing | Indicates whether the budget is in a state that is eligible for billing event generation. In addition to this, Approved for Billing may need to be selected depending on the global configuration that your administrator has set. | |
Exclude from Billing | Indicates whether the business record Timecard Split, Expense, Milestone, Miscellaneous Adjustment or Budget is to be excluded from billing. You can override this setting on child objects such as a timecard split A whole timecard or part of a timecard. and an expense A record of expenses incurred by resources assigned to a project or opportunity.. | |
Expense Amount | Amount of additional expense. | |
Expense Transaction | Transaction ID for the cost associated with the budget. | |
Include In Financials | Indicates this budget's numbers should be included in financial roll-ups to projects and RPGs. | |
Invoice Date | Invoice date for the budget An amount used to manage expenditure on customer purchase orders, internal budgets, outbound vendor purchase orders and work orders. A budget must be associated with a project.. | |
Invoice Number | Number of the related invoice. | |
Invoiced | Indicates the budget has been invoiced. | |
Opportunity | Lookup to the related opportunity. | |
Override Project Region/Practice/Group | Overrides the Project/Region/Practice/Group to which the transactions on a miscellaneous adjustment roll up to for Project/Region/Practice/Group actuals. | |
Override Project Region/Practice/Group Currency Code | Currency code of the currency selected on the Override Project Region/Practice/Group. | |
Pre-Billed Amount | Amount billed and received earlier. | |
Pre-Billed Transaction | Transaction ID for the billed and received earlier. | |
Project | * | Lookup to the related project A collection of activities and related items to be managed over a defined time range, such as timecards, expenses, milestones and budgets.. |
Status | * | Draft, Open, Approved or Rejected. |
Total Amount | Budget amount plus the Expense Amount. | |
