Creating or Importing Time Periods

Note: Set up all the time periods that you require in advance including time periods well into the future.

To import time periods:

1. Define the exact time periods you want to work with in a CSV Comma Separated Values file.

   

   In this example several time periods of the type Week are created.

2. Import the CSV file using the Salesforce Data Loader Tool.

Note:

Once your created time periods are in use, they do not change.

To create a single time period:

1. Click the Time Periods tab.
2. Click New.
3. Complete the fields described in Time Period Fields.
4. Click Save.
