Time Variance Calculations
In PSA, you can calculate time variance at the region A level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects., practice A level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects., and group A level of hierarchy used in PSA to which other objects belong such as resources, opportunities and projects. level between a resource's work calendar hours and the logged hours by users. You can use these calculations to build reports tracking deviations between hours on a resource's work calendar and a resource's timecard hours.
If you have the privileges to do so, you can define a threshold of time variance over or under scheduled resource hours based on the work calendar.
You can then calculate the time variance using either:
- the number of hours over or under hours worked compared against the hours in the work calendar, or:
- a percentage of hours worked over or under the hours in the work calendar.
