Managing Recognition Settings Records

You must be signed in as an administrator to create, edit or delete recognition settings records.

To edit an existing recognition settings record:

  1. Click the Recognition Settings tab.
  2. Navigate to the detail page of the settings record.
  3. Click Edit. You cannot edit the source object, parent setting or level of any existing settings record.
  4. Make the changes.
  5. Click Save.

You can edit any field on a cloned recognition settings record.

To delete an existing recognition settings record:

  • If the settings record has no children (related settings at a lower level), follow the steps for editing but click Delete at step 3. So in a multi-level group of settings records, delete them in reverse order starting with the lowest level first.
  • If the settings record has children (related settings at a lower level), follow the steps for editing but click Delete Hierarchy at step 3. This will delete the current settings record and all of its children.
Note:

You cannot delete a recognition settings record that is related to a recognition template or one that is used on a shared recognition view.
