Customizing Business Analytics Assets

You can use the Analytics Studio to customize the dashboards and lenses of your Business Analytics app. However, to streamline the upgrade process to new versions of the Business Analytics app, ensure that you first clone the assets you want to customize and edit the cloned versions.

Warning:

Avoid customizing the Business Analytics dataflows and recipes or the datasets generated by them as custom datasets are currently not supported by the Business Analytics upgrade process. Doing so might impact your ability to upgrade your app when new app template versions are available. If you customized these assets, you have to manually copy your changes into new versions of the app. For more information, see Upgrading to Business Analytics Summer 2024.
