Deleting Team Members

You can delete team members from the following places:

  • The Team Management tab of the team's record page
  • The Team Members related list of the team's record page
  • The Team Manager panel of the playbook's record page

Deleting a team member removes them from the Team Members table in the Team Management tab and deletes the team member record, which links the resource to the team, from the Team Members related list on the team's record page. If the team is associated with a playbook, the team member is also removed from the Team Manager panel on the playbook's record.

Once deleted, the resource can be added back to the team using any of the methods listed in Adding Team Members.

You can delete team members in one of the following ways:

To delete team members from the Team Management tab of the team's record page:

  1. In the App Launcher, navigate to the Teams tab.
  2. Click the team that you want to delete members from. The team's record page displays.
  3. On the team's record page, click the Team Management tab.
  4. Select the team members you want to remove from the team and click Delete Team Members. The deleted team members are removed from the Team Members table.

To delete team members from the Team Members related list of the team's record page:

  1. In the App Launcher, navigate to the Teams tab.
  2. Click the team that you want to delete members from. The team's record page displays.
  3. On the team's record page, click the Related tab.
  4. On the Team Members related list, click Show Actions next to the team member you want to remove.
  5. Click Delete.

To delete team members from the Team Manager panel of the playbook's record page:

  1. In the App Launcher, navigate to the Playbooks tab.
  2. Click the playbook that you want to delete team members from. The playbook's record page displays.
  3. On the Team Manager panel, click More Actions next to the team member you want to remove.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Click Update Team to delete the member from the team or Create Team to create a new team to associate with the playbook excluding the team member you have deleted.
