Plan Templates Overview

Using plan templates, you can create and save the structure of a plan using data from Analytics and use it to quickly create multiple plans. For example, you can use a plan template to create multiple plans for a single project, providing users with one common template for inputting data.

You can create plans from existing plan templates from the Plan record page or from the Embedded Plan Component on any record page. For more information, see Creating a Plan from a Plan Template. The data source, plan structure, and dimension are defined when creating the template, which helps streamline and speed up the process of creating repetitive plans from scratch using the same dataset.
