Financial Analytics Licensing

The following user licenses are required for Financial Analytics.

Enables access to Accounting objects and fields.

Enables access to Billing Central objects and fields.

[Optional] Revenue Management Enables access to Revenue Management objects and fields.

Business Analytics

Enables the user to install and run the Financial Management Analytics application.

Financial Statements

Enables the user to install and run the Financial Statements application. This license is not required if you have a Business Analytics license.

Accounting

Enables access to Accounting objects and fields.

[Optional] Planning and Analysis Enables access to Planning and Analysis objects and fields.

[Optional] Billing Central

Enables access to Billing Central objects and fields.

[Optional] Revenue Management Enables access to Revenue Management objects and fields.

These users only require the Analytics Platform User permission set to access any Business Analytics apps shared with them.

In addition to these licenses, the Admin User and View User require an Analytics license. Access to these licenses is enabled with each Business Analytics license.

To drill down from Financial Management Analytics to the detailed transactional information within Accounting, the user requires a Accounting license.

Billing Central and Revenue Management Optional Features

From Fall 2019, if you want to add Billing Central data to your financial datasets, then a Billing Central license must be added to the Analytics Integration User. A Billing Central license is also required by users who want to drill down from Financial Management Analytics into detailed contract activity information.

From Spring 2020, if you want to add Revenue Management data to your financial datasets, then a Revenue Management license must be added to the Analytics Integration User. A Revenue Management license is also required to drill down from Financial Management Analytics into detailed revenue information.
