Setting up Global Values

Optionally, you can update the values for global value sets that Foundations adds to your Salesforce org. For example, Foundations provides a Tax Country Code global value set. This is used to determine the available options in the Tax Country Code picklist fields that Foundations adds to the Account and Company Tax Information objects. For more information about global value sets, see the Salesforce Help.

Global Value Set	Description
Tax Country Code	Determines the codes for the European Union countries that are available for selection in the Tax Country Code picklists on the Account and Company Tax Information objects.
Tax Exemption Reason	Tax exemption reason identifiers used on the Account Extension object. The options provided by Foundations list the options used in Avalara. List of Tax Exemption Reasons A - Federal Government B - State Government C - Tribal Government D - Foreign Diplomat E - Charitable Organization F - Religious Organization G - Resale H - Agricultural Production I - Industrial Production or Manufacturers J - Direct Pay Permit K - Direct Mail L - Other or Custom M - Educational Organization N - Local Government P - Commercial Aquaculture Q - Commercial Fishery R - Non-Resident
