Using the PSA Utilization Analytics Capacity and Demand Planning Dashboard Configuration Page

You can access the dashboard configuration page from the PSA Utilization Analytics Capacity and Demand Planning dashboard. This enables you to choose whether to include historical scheduling data in the dashboard's heat map and Resource Availability list. The configuration page is not supported on mobile devices.

To perform these steps, ensure that you:

  • Have the Analytics Platform Admin permission set
  • Are using the Analytics Studio app (not the Analytics app)

To configure your dashboards:

  1. From the PSA Utilization Analytics Capacity and Demand Planning dashboard, click Configuration button to open the dashboard configuration page.
  2. Click Edit. To perform this step and continue with the configuration, ensure that you are assigned the Analytics Platform Admin permission set.
  3. Click More actions menu button., then select Pick Initial Values.
  4. Select whether you want to include historical scheduling data in the dashboard.
  5. Click Done to save your selection.
  6. [Optional] Click Preview to enter preview mode and view your changes.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Click Configuration button to return to the PSA Utilization Analytics Capacity and Demand Planning dashboard.

Historical scheduling data is configured. To update the setting at any time from Analytics Studio, click Configuration button in the PSA Utilization Analytics Capacity and Demand Planning dashboard.
