About Recognition Staging Tables

The following custom objects are used as internal staging and batch tracking control tables during the Recognize Revenue process for ActualsClosed Refers to the original revenue recognition process where staging data is generated for source records. The Recognize Revenue page and Recognize All use this process.:

  • Staging Summary - stores summary staging data
  • Staging Detail - stores detail staging data
  • Staging Version - stores version information about the staging data
  • Grouping Summary - stores grouping summary information
  • Batch Process Control - stores details of the batch jobs related to managing the staging data
  • Process Control and Process - store details of processes using versions of the staging data

These tables do not have tabs. You can build staging data through the API or by clicking Generate Data on the Recognize Revenue page.

If you have administrator permissions you can delete data from the staging tables. See Deleting Data from the Recognition Staging Tables for details.

Warning:

You are advised not to create custom lookups to these staging and grouping tables because doing so may cause issues when staging data is deleted.
