Clone an Existing Scoping Requirement Set

You can clone an existing scoping requirement set, enabling you to create a new one more efficiently by making small changes to your cloned version, such as entering a new name and description.

If you clone a scoping requirement set to the same estimate product as the original version, requirements, responses, actions, and action conditions are copied to your cloned version. However, if you clone a scoping requirement set to a different estimate product, only requirements and responses will be copied to your cloned requirement set.

To clone a scoping requirement set:

  1. Go to the record page of your existing scoping requirement set.
  2. Click Clone Scoping Requirement Set.
  3. Enter a name for your scoping requirement set.
  4. Search for and select an estimate product.
  5. [Optional] Enter a description.
  6. Click Clone.
Notes:
  • Your cloned scoping requirement set will not be active by default. You must manually activate it by selecting the Active checkbox within the requirement set.
  • If an estimate product already has an active scoping requirement set, you must first deactivate it before activating your new, cloned requirement set.
