New Features and Enhancements in Extended Planning and Analysis Analytics Summer 2024

The following new features have been introduced in the Summer 2024 release of Extended Planning and Analysis Analytics.

Extended Planning and Analysis Analytics

We have added a new app template named Extended Planning and Analysis Analytics. This app template enables you create the Plan Scenario Comparison dashboard, which enables you to compare plan scenarios that belong to the same or different plans from Extended Planning and Analysis. You can compare plan scenarios that include any type of data. For example, you can compare scenarios that include financial data or project-related data. This helps you analyze the reasons for the variances, make better decisions, and reduce risk.

When you create apps using the template, you select the dataset used by the app to populate the dashboard. The selected dataset must contain data from plans in Extended Planning and Analysis. You can also define the number of filters that you want available in the dashboard according to the number of dimensions that you want to group your data by. You can also customize the title of the dashboard according to the type of the data that the dataset includes. The Extended Planning and Analysis Analytics app contains the Plan Scenario Comparison dashboard. More information about each item is provided below.
